铁水包浇注料的基本特点是使用温度一般不超1400℃，但是使用寿命要求900炉以上。因此包衬必须具有较高的强度、较好的耐冲刷性、良好的抗热震性，加入一定量的碳化硅，既可以提高耐磨性、抗冲刷能力，还可以还原一些低熔点的物质。

Aluminum silicon carbide castable is commonly used in hot metal ladle. It is mainly made of high-quality bauxite and silicon carbide. It has high fire resistance, impact resistance, erosion resistance, wear resistance, long service life, high construction efficiency and low labor intensity.
The basic characteristic of ladle castables is that the service temperature is generally not more than 1400 ℃, but the service life is required to be more than 900 heats. Therefore, the lining must have high strength, good erosion resistance and good thermal shock resistance. Adding a certain amount of silicon carbide can not only improve the wear resistance and erosion resistance, but also reduce some substances with low melting point.
